The Californians TV 1957 s01e07 The Regulators

In the 1850s during the California Gold Rush, citizens of San Francisco are forced to form a temporary vigilante group to fight back against the various criminal gangs that ravage the city with impunity until a marshal is appointed. In this episode, with the leader of a gang of outlaws on trial, they intimidate the witnesses by kidnapping the wife (Nan Leslie) of the vigilante committee's leader (Sean McClory).
