Jake's uncle Berish comes to visit the Goldbergs. Gertrude Berg created "The Goldbergs" for Radio in 1929. In 1949 it started on CBS Television, moved to NBC in 1952 and to DuMont in 1954. 39 filmed episodes in 1955 ended the series.
