See what the Muscovites think of Whirlpool's Kitchen of Tomorrow as shown at the American National Exhibition in Russia, 1959. As part of a cultural understanding program, the Soviets exhibited in NYC just a few months prior. Shown are futuristic gadgets, like a dishwasher that comes to the table, and a robot vacuum cleaner. But some of these appliances were readily available, such as the WP combination washer/dryer, and in-built "electronic oven" (not shown)
