A worthy suspense drama in which a British couple’s daughter is kidnapped to prevent their exposure of an assassination plot. The excellent cast includes Peter Lorre’s first appearance in a Hitchcock Film. Remade in 1956. It would make an interesting double feature with Hitch’s “Sabotage.” IMDB rating 6.9.
