Union Pacific TV 1958 s01e01 Black Hills Incident

Rejissyor: California National Productions. An army major (Jeff Morrow) in charge of advancing railroad construction westward, must deal with everything from marauders to land issues. He's aided by a surveyor (Judson Pratt) and a woman (Susan Cummings) who runs the mobile Golden Nugget saloon and gambling emporium at the End of Track. In this colorized premiere episode, the Major decides to defy orders from the railroad commissioner (John Hoyt) and route track through the rugged Black Hills. After this, the commissioner tries to have him dismissed, until he discovers who would benefit by re-routing the line to a more southerly path. I colorized this using AI software that doesn't always get the colors right, but I think it looks fairly natural. Hopefully a more professional job will be done someday.
