Starring Steve Holland as Flash Gordon, Irene Champlin as Dale Arden, Joseph Nash as Dr. Alexis Zarkov. Episode 16 Mission to Masca (4 Feb 1955) Sent to the planet Masca to find out why there has been no communication from it in several years, Flash and Dale discover that it has developed a strange matriarchal society. Episode 35 The Earth's Core (17 Jun 1955) To investigate the source of a series of unexplained earthquakes, Flash and his companions use an atomic boring machine to burrow deep into the Earth, where they find a subterranean race intent on conquering the surface.
